And in a nutshell... it's incredibly stupid and pretty obvious that Goodkind had no idea how it was all going to connect until he got to this part and just pulled it out of his ass on the spot, no matter whether it makes sense or not. And worse, the way he ties it all together cheapens the first eleven books of the series, and everything that happens in them.
