Je l'avais raté celle-là.Cage Movie Washed Away13 July 2009 6:26 PM, PDTNicolas Cage's new movie {The Sorcerer's Apprentice] was turned into a washout by the second wettest June in New York's history. The city was hit with more than double the usual levels of rainfall, causing cast and crew members on the fantasy film a series of logistical nightmares.Producer Jerry Bruckheimer explains, "In 38 days on set, we had 32 days of rain, which didn't help us."As soon as shooting finished, the sun came out and summer kicked off in the city, pouring further salt in Bruckheimer's wounds. He adds, "It's beautiful now. That's why - because we've finished filming."The weather was just one of a number of problems to hit the movie's Manhattan set - a number of crewmembers and onlookers were hurt in two separate car crashes, prompting rumours Cage hired a voodoo priestess to remove a curse from the movie; claims he later denied.

Que d'infos fantastiques décidément.

Cage Thanks Homeless Fan22 July 2009 4:56 AM, PDTHollywood action man Nicolas Cage showed off his softer side after he ditched a movie wrap party to chat to a homeless fan standing outside. The actor became acquaintances with the vagrant while filming upcoming adventure film The Sorcerer's Apprentice in New York City, as the man often stopped by the set.And Cage expressed his gratitude for the support by snubbing the movie's wrap party at New York night club Greenhouse to chat to his new friend last week (ends19Jul09).According to the New York Daily News, Cage and producer Jerry Bruckheimer both "went outside and spent a lot of time with the man. They thanked him for supporting the film."
