depuis quelques jours et la lecture de ce post je suis soumis à un affruex dilemme : dois-je lire La Loi du Régicide au risque de tomber en dépression car je n'auri pas la suite, ou bien continuer ma vie en bonne santé jusqu'à x temps avant de me rassoir sur le trône de fer au moment de la sortie du prochain tome ? :? Thys, c'est vrai qu'il mériterait que ses écrivains préférés le fassent poireauter.

Il est TRES MAL placé pour se plaindre.Dagor Aglareb, finit La loi du régicide, c'est criminel de laisser tomber en plein milieu du tome 3 (c'est bien la 4e partie de l'édition française?)! Quant à moi, je regrette purement et simplement d'avoir commencé le Trône de fer, une nuit d'hiver... C'est trop dur d'attendre la suite. :demontriste:

je l'ai fini ce dernier tome VF ! Comme d'hab j'ai adoré !! :DLa bataille pour le Mur est peut être une des plus impressionante que j'ai put lire : des mammouths, des géants.... Je crois que c'est seulement à ce moment là que j'ai vraiment compris quelle taille ce mur de glace pouvait avoir !!!Y a pas à dire : les sauvageons, quelle classe !!! Leurs chefs sont vraiment très bon (même si plus de la moitié se fait trucider...

). Le Zoman avec son linx, le Seigneur des os, Harma la Truffe, Tormund fléau d'ogre...et puis Mance Rayder, très charismatique ! Il serait vriament dommage que Martin "l'oublie" pour la suite de l'histoire. Valr Morgulis : je veux savoir ce qu'implique cette phrase !!! Arya le dit et on est à ses pieds !!! Pourquoi ? Qui est Jacquen ?J'ai eu très peur, sinon, que Le Limier n'ai pas sa veangeance sur son frère ! ;)J'ai été très satisfait par l'attitude de Jaime Lannister. Moins par celle de Tyrion, qui semble perdre ses bons sentiments (qui faisaine tson charme) ...faut dire qu'il en prend plein la gueule ! Pour Jon, beh on s'y attendait, non ?Pour Sam, aussi.Pour Bran, ah beh non, pas de Bran, cette fois-ci ! snif...Et puis l'épilogue m'a fait ouvrir très grand les yeux !!! Ceux qui ont lu sauront pourquoi !!Et puis Stannis pour finir... C'est bel et bien le perso le plus anthipathique du livre ! Juste après Tywin Lannister et Littlefinger quand m^me...Ce qui m'amène à Mélissandre et à son Dieu... Elle se bat contre les autres, l'intervention de Stannis le prouvant de très belle facon (merci Davos). Pourtant, son Dieu rouge ressuscite les morts....Il y a un "truc" de bizarre chez elle qui n'est pas "catholique". Lequel ? Si vous avez des idées....

La dernière page laisse sur une impression mitigée. J'aurais préféré une mort nette et définitive. Au lieu de ça, on se demande si -bip- a survécu ou est un Autre.Je suis curieuse moi aussi de savoir ce que Valar Morgulis veut dire. Arya se prépare un destin glorieux, c'est sûr. Je l'imagine bien montée sur un dragon... Par contre, Sansa risque d'avoir des ennuis avec son nouvel "ami" qui m'a l'air bien excité.Et Melissandre... si la prophétie était vraie pour Stannis? Est-ce que les dragons fossilisés vont se réveiller?

Au fait, puisque je suis sur ce fil j'en profite pour dire que je suis bien Naemon réincarné sous sa nouvelle forme. J'aime beaucoup l'expression "Chevalier Dragon" mais un nom simple et concis fait tout aussi bien l'affaire. Et je garde l'inspiration Martin puisque mon nom est généralement suivi d'un jet de flammes.

je suis quasimment sur que ce n'est pas Stannis qui sera l'élu...Déjà, Mélissandre parle de Prince quand elle parle de l'élu. C'est un détail mais qui peut faire la différence : Stannis est déjà roi...Alors pourquoi pas Jon ? Facile...pour l'auteur quand même et surtout très prévisible.... mais bon.Certain forums us parlent de Jon comme le fil de lyana et Rhaegar, sachant que Rhaegar était plutôt "bon" et très loin du monstre que l'on décrit souvent... et que ces deux là s'aimaient vraiment et que Robert était jaloux, etc, etc....((cf Ser Barristan Selmy : intox ?) Bref, Ned Stark aurait protégé jon à la demande de Lyana (cf la promesse dont on parle souvent au début...). Ce qui expliquerait d'emblé les traits Stark de Jon (fils de Lyana, une Stark) et que donc Jon serait techniquement un "prince" Targaryen ! Néanmmoins, il se place d'emblée comme défenseur des anciens dieux ( cf son Loup aux yeux rouges comme les yeux d'un barral). Ce qui le place en opposition avec le Dieu Rouge ! et l'allie de fait avec Bran ( ca parait évident mais dans ce livre, sous savez...) qui semble le réceptacle des pouvoirs des anciens dieux et alors, c'est peut être lui la clé du livre.Et que dire de Béric Dondarrion ? Et de Thoros de Myr ? Alors que ce dernier est un prêtre rouge, il semble néanmmoins assez loin des ambitions de Mélissandre et s'étonne lui même de ses pouvoirs.....Au fait, vous avez remarquer la mention de Duncan Le Grand en tant que Lord Commandant de La garde ? :DVivement Légendes 2 pour des nouvelles de Dunk et de l'oeuf !!Dagor Aglareb :hat

C'est son apparence physique de la fin qui peut y faire penser.Je ne sais pas comment tu fais Dagor Aglareb pour discuter de l'éventuelle lignée de Jon Snow: tu as l'arbre généalogique de toutes les maisons affiché dans ton salon ou quoi?

Moi j'ai déjà du mal à suivre l'histoire au fur et à mesure qu'elle se déroule, alors de là à faire des conjectures!

Voilà un résumé de ce prologue, The Arms of The Kraken... Il n'est évidemment pas de moi.

Greetings, I am going to try and summarize The Arms Of The Kraken. This novella has POV from Aeron Damphair, Asha, and Victarion. A last section the priest is again of Damphair.The Prophet: Aeron Damphair is drowning men and reviving them again with the breath of life. Offering their lives to the Drowned God. A small group, Gormond Goodbrother is among them, comes to inform Damphair that King Balon is dead. Damphair is very distressed about this news because the two stabilizing forces in his world were The Drowned God and his brother the king. Aeron rides to Gorold Goodbrothers castle to speak with him. Aeron is informed that Euron Crow?s Eye sits the Seastone Chair. Damphair is stunned at this. He thinks that Euron is sailing on the other side of the world. Aeron is told that Euron returned the very day after King Balon died. Euron claimed the crown as Balon?s eldest living brother and is calling all the captains from every isle to bend the knee to him. Aeron and Balon had apparently talked of the succession before and Aeron was told that Balon thought that Asha was the best to ascend the throne. Balon thought Theon weakened by his being hostage at Winterfell. Aeron didn?t agree with that. Aeron does not think a woman should rule. Aeron wants Victarion to be the king because he is more Godly. On his way to Pebbleton we learn why Aeron hates maesters so. When he was younger his brother Urrigon and he were doing the finger dance when Aeron accidentally cut off half his brothers hand with a hand axe. The maesters did not treat him right and Urrigon died. He also remembers how he became a priest of the Drowned God. During Balon?s first rebellion Stannis? ship smashed Aeron?s ship and Aeron was lost at sea only to be captured and taken to Lannisport. Aeron travels across Great Wyk sending out word of the king?s death and praying. The Drowned God tells him to call a Kingsmoot to solve the question of ascension. The kingsmoot is to be held at the ancient site of the grey kings hall, at the bones of Nagga. Nagga is supposedly the ancient bones, turned to stone, of a sea dragon. The grey king?s hall was build around the ribs of Nagga. Aeron finds out that Asha is headed for Ten Towers, the castle of her uncle, Rodrik Harlaw. Harlaw is gathering his friends to back Asha. The Krakens Daughter: Asha sails into Ten Towers thinking that not enough captains have come to back her play for the throne. Asha?s mother was mourning in the widow?s tower. She ordered Lady Glover and the babies to be put up in a tower and given all the necessities. Asha and Harlaw talked of Balon?s death. Asha thinks he was murdered, and Harlaw thinks it was very curious that Euron showed up the day after Balon?s death. Harlaw tells Asha of the kingsmoot and that Victarion was summoned as well. Harlaw asks Asha to not go to the kingsmoot, to stay at Ten Towers with her mother and Harlaw will name Asha as heir of Ten Towers. Asha declines because she seeks the Seastone Chair. The rest of this part is back history of Asha and Tristifer Botley and his love for her. She rebuffes him and makes haste for Nagga?s bones.The Iron Captain: Victarion sails into the holy bay called Nagga?s Cradle. He knows that Asha has the right of the throne being Balon?s blood. But he knows that his biggest barrier will be Euron Crow?s Eye. Victarion goes ashore and is met by his brother Aeron Damphair. He kneels and is blesse by Aeron while they both pray. Aeron?s followers set up a tent and the two brothers feast at the edge of the bay. Many men come and talk with Victarion. Some offer their support others offer daughters as his bride, for Victation has no heir. Victarion has no luck with wives losing his first during childbirth, the second to a pox and the third?Victarion is soon joined by Asha at the tent and the two talk of the empty throne. Victarion tells her that the ironbound will not be leas by a woman. Asha tells him she has a better right to the throne than he. The Greyjoys are soon joined by Euron and his host. The three Greyjoys are soon bickering about who should sit the throne. Victarion gets mad and send Euron and his men out of victarions feast. Victarion and Asha talk of the throne and Asha tells Victarion that she knows she does not have enough followers to win a kingsmoot. She offers to back Vic if he will name her his hand. Vic laughs at that and thinks many others will also laugh at a woman being his hand. Iron kings don?t need a third hand. Asha wants to cede Deepwood Motte , Torrhen?s Square, and Moat Cailin back to the northmen in exchange for Sea Dragon Point and all the Stony Shore all the way to Flint Finger. Vic scoffs at this and basically dismisses her. Asha guessed why Vic hates Aeron so much. As it happens Victaroins third wife slept with Aeron and got pregnant. Victarion was so mad he beat his wife to death and would have killed Aeron, but King Balon would have no kin blood spilt in his hall and exiled Aeron never to return?.so long as Balon lived.The Priest: Damphair stands at Nagga?s bones and sees a great sea of the ironbound come to be part of the kingsmoot. Kettledrums beat and warhorns blow to summon the council. Damphair is the leader of the kingsmoot and calls for someone to come forth and make their claim to the throne. Several people young and old make a claim to the throne.Victarion is the first Grejoy to come forth. He tells of the loyalty he had for Balon and the things he did for Balon. During the rebellion he singes the Lions tail for Balon. The Second rebellion he was sent to put down the young Stark. He promises to rule a balon did.Asha is second to come forth. She wants to have eace and friendship with the northmen. She is offering the land on the mainland with enough stone for all sons to build great halls. Friendship with the north to stand against the iron throne. Euron is the last to make claim. One of Eurons men was blowing a great black horn with gold bands and dark steel and valyrian glyphs engraved on it side. Euron has no time for making friends with the north or ruling as ineffectively as Balon did. He wants the whole of Westeros. Asked how he claims to pull that off he responds, just a Aegon the Conqueror did. With Dragons. He claims the horn is from the ashes of ruined Valyria. A dragon horn bound with valyrian steel and engraved with enchantments. The horn can bind dragons to Euron?s will. When told there are no more dragons he seays he knows where to find three and that should be enough for the crown.

Il faut que je lise cette nouvelle ! Contrairement à celle de Légende, elle fait partie intégrante de l'histoire compté dans Le Trône de Fer ! Le Peuple du Kraken sait où trouver des dragons, trois dragons ? Peut être que l'on a enfin trouvé comment Daenerys va faire traverser la mer à ses troupes et à ses dragons ? salut a tous, un petit nouveau qui post pour la premiere fois; je voulais juste dire que en ce qui concerne stannis est il l'elue ou pas je crois que c'est clair qu'il ne l'est pas lorsque maestre aemon (je crois que c le nom du maestre targaryen du mur) se fait decrire l'epee de stannis par jon et ue clairement il ne reconnait pas la la fameuse epee que doit posseder l'elue, enfin c ce que j'ai compris (j'ai lu le livre en vo lors peut etre ai je mal compris la scene); voila bye
