Rien que de la bagarre, quoi...En fait, dans ce film, la fille, tueuse à gage, voit toute sa famille tuée le jour de son mariage. Après 5 ans de coma, elle décide de se venger et de tuer tous les membres de l'organisation criminelle responsables de meurtres, en terminant par Bill, le patron.Bref, ça a l'air terriblement passionnant... Quand on voit en plus dans le trailer le type qui monte sur l'épée avant de frapper, c'est amusant, mais deux heures de ça, ça ne me dit vraiment rien !

Bah moi, ça me dit bien ! Les films de sabre revus par Tarantino... hmmmmmm ! J'en salive d'avance... et le trailer me fait baver !.... D'accord j'avoue, Tarantino est un de mes réalisateurs (et scénaristes) préférés. En plus, s'il y a Uma Thurman... :langue:

Tarantino qui joue avec des sabres, j'ai hate de voir ça ! Bon j'avoue moi aussi j'adore ses films.... :roll: En plus l'idée me plait et le trailer m'a emballée donc j'attends ce film avec impatience !

Hé éh, c'est LE film que j'attends le plus en 2003 (avec Big Fish, les Matrix et le Retour du Roi).Je me suis repassé le trailer des dizaines de fois, ça va être génial ! Sonny Chiba, David Carradine, Uma Thurman avec les fringues de Bruce Lee, Samuel Jackson, Lucy Liu etc etc, avec Yuen Woo Ping qui s'occupe des combats et évidemment Tarantino à tous les autres postes, ça promet ! :)Ca risque d'être le plus bel hommage au ciné asiatique, avec le Jack Burton de Carpenter (surtout quand on voit les zooms avant/arrières dans le trailer, typiques des films d'action fauchés hong kongais...) !

Blarg, Tarantino qui rend hommage au cinema de Hong Kong, Uma Thurman dans une scène qui cite ouvertement Fist Of Fury avec Bruce Lee. Des sabres, du style, un combat sous la neige... Va falloir un moment avant que je me remette de cette bande-annonce. Et faut que je revienne faire un tour sur elbakin.net, que je tombe sur ça... Et après, comment je fais pour penser fantasy?Mouarf, la baffe potentielle, ce film.

Tiens, je retombe sur ce sujet, et je viens de regarder à nouveau le trailer.Et je me demande en fait pourquoi j'avais réagi si hostilement à ce film ! Comme j'adore Matrix (et que le deuxième opus contien pas mal de combats), je me suis dit "tiens, pourquoi pas", et donc après revisionnage du trailer, ça parait quand même assez intéressant.Sortie le 15 octobre, je me laisserai peut-être tenter finalement !

HOLSON LOS ANGELES, July 15 — Miramax Films will take the unusual and potentially risky move of releasing "Kill Bill," the much-anticipated Quentin Tarantino martial arts action-adventure film, as two movies, the first to open in the fall. Miramax will in effect be taking a three-hour film with a 200-page script and turning it into a serial. Harvey Weinstein, a co-founder of Miramax, which is financing the film, said in an interview on Monday that the first installment would be in theaters on Oct. 10. The second release date is in still being negotiated, but it could be two to six months later, he said. To many in Hollywood, the decision will come as a surprise. Mr. Weinstein, who in Hollywood is known as "Harvey Scissorhands," after the title character in the movie "Edward Scissorhands," has a reputation for forcing directors to cut both costs and the lengths of their movies. Mr. Tarantino spent 155 days shooting the film, well more than planned and longer than usual for most films. But Mr. Weinstein said Mr. Tarantino was something of a special case. The popularity of his violent yet original 1994 film, "Pulp Fiction," helped put Miramax on the map and generated an abundance of cash to help the studio bankroll other movies. "Miramax is the house Quentin Tarantino built," Mr. Weinstein said. And because of this director's stature he was granted "carte blanche," Mr. Weinstein added. "Kill Bill'` is Mr. Tarantino's first foray into action filmmaking. His limited body of work also includes the equally violent yet critically praised "Reservoir Dogs." When Mr. Tarantino first approached Mr. Weinstein about doing "Kill Bill" several years ago, it was with the condition that he be allowed to film the whole 200-page script that he had written. When Mr. Weinstein visited the set in its last month of shooting late last year, Mr. Tarantino said in a statement, Mr. Weinstein brought up the idea of splitting it in two. No decision was made at the time although Mr. Tarantino shot two opening-credit sequences, he said. Mr. Weinstein said it was not until he visited Los Angeles three weeks ago, when Mr. Tarantino showed him more than an hour and a half of the film, that the two decided on the two-film approach. "Kill Bill" is the story, told in chapters, of the world's deadliest female assassin, who survives being shot on her wedding day and, after five years in a coma, seeks revenge on the man who tried to kill her. The film's samurai-style fight sequences were filmed largely in China and take place in everything from a nightclub to a snow-covered garden to a suburban home. "There were no obstacles involved in splitting up `Kill Bill' at all because I've always designed the movie, thought about the film, as malleable in any number of versions," Mr. Tarantino said in his statement. That includes different versions for Asia, America and Europe. The serial approach to "Kill Bill" has parallels to the making of the second and third installments of the "Matrix" series and "The Lord of The Rings" trilogy, which were filmed as one story but divided into parts and have been released on a staggered schedule. But those films were conceived as multipart releases; "Kill Bill" was not. Despite the success of the "Matrix" and the "Lord of the Ring" franchises, Miramax's decision carries risks, given the box-office figures for a number of sequels, prequels and serials. Several have been disappointments this summer, including "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," which received heavy publicity and generally favorable reviews as an enjoyable romp but which still failed to attract crowds. The serial films that have done well at the box office, like the "Matrix" series, have had built-in audiences already interested in the story. "Kill Bill," on the other hand, is from Mr. Tarantino's original screenplay. Mitigating some of the risk is the movie's price tag, which Mr. Weinstein estimated at more than $55 million, not including marketing costs: less than what many blockbusters cost because many of the actors worked for union-scale wages and because production costs in China are lower than in the United States. What Miramax and Mr. Tarantino are betting on is that the director's avid fan base and the pent-up interest in "Kill Bill" — which has taken almost a decade to make and is Mr. Tarantino's fifth movie — will pack theaters not once, but twice. Still Mr. Weinstein said he was worried about overselling this film, calling it "just a fun B-movie." The question is: Fun for whom? "Kill Bill," not unlike other films that Mr. Tarantino has made, is intensely violent. That will limit the people who can see it, particularly the younger action-film audience that studios covet. In one spectacular fight in the "House of Blue Leaves" nightclub, nearly 100 people are killed, according to one person who worked on the set in China. Much has been made of the notion that Mr. Tarantino wanted the blood to be a particularly vibrant red. "Tarantino is something of an innovator who takes audiences into different realms," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of Exhibitor Relations, a Los Angeles company that analyzes box-office returns. Miramax has yet to work out the actors' salaries for the two movies, Mr. Weinstein said. The studio is renegotiating contracts, including one for Uma Thurman, who stars as the bride who is shot, and another for Lucy Liu, who plays a member of Bill's hit squad. Two Hollywood executives familiar with the contracts said the two actresses would receive a percentage of the box-office revenue. Because the contracts were originally based on only one movie, they will have to be changed to reflect the two-part scheme, the executives said. Stars' salary demands can often derail a movie, but Mr. Weinstein expressed confidence that a new agreement would be reached since the actors will not have to shoot new scenes.En gros : le film sera divisé en deux parties. Ils prennent ça pour du "risqué", moi je ne le vois pas nécessairement comme ça. Je dirais plutôt qu'ils ne veulent pas prendr le risque de sortir un film de 3h comme NewLine l'a fait, tout ça pour le fric !Pour pourvoir projeter le film plus de fois déjà, et puis ils ne perdent pas vraiment. Que le film soit long ou pas, les intéressés vont le voir (s'il est court, ça rebute moins de monde) et si même la première partie est nulle et que personne ne va voir la deuxième, ça ne change presque rien par rapport au cas où 1 seul film sort une seule fois (mis à part le prix "longs films" qui peut-être compensés par le nombre d'entrées en plus).Enfin, bref, à payer deux places de ciné au lieu d'une place pour un long film, c'est nous qui y perdons ! Mais comme le spectacle semble en valoir la peine, je crois que je me ferai tout de même avoir avec plaisir !

Production I.G (le studio qui a fait entre autre ghost in the shell...) a produit 15 mn d'animation pour Kill Bill... assez étonnant

Le second volume de Kill Bill ne sortira finalement que le 20 Fevrier prochain :? Miramax explique que c'est pour que les deux films soit éligible aux Oscars. Le premier aux Oscars 2004 et le second en 2005.Mais a mon avis ils ont eu peur de Matrix revolution et surtout du ROTK :twisted:

J'accroche pas trop avec le cinéma de tarantino ,mais ce projet à l'air intéressant et comme la saison automnale a l'air assez vide ( part le film de clint et des frères cohen c'est le désert), j'irais probablement le voir.P.s:J'irais surtout pour uma thurman

Intéressante mais je trouve que de savoir que c'était le quatrième film de TARENTINO était superflu.J'avoue j'ai failli mourir de rire lorsque j'ai vu passer la nana borgne en volant avec sa petite hache (je ne suis pas un expert en armes orientales) de gauche vers la droite. Très burlesque.Sinon, cela se bat beaucoup (étonnant) et il y a l'air d'avoir deux trois idées sympathiques (la bagarre avec l'éclairage et la montée sur la rampe par le divine Urma ou son double)Comme tout TARENTINO, il faut attendre pour savoir.Ashes

En attendant, la BO sort à la fin du mois et va tout déchirer :Le secret vient d’être levé sur la bande originale du prochain film de Quentin Tarantino, "Kill Bill", éditée par le label de Madonna Maverick (sortie mondiale le 23 septembre).Le réalisateur, qui soigne toujours sa musique, a confié la bande-son à RZA, le mentor du Wu Tang Clan qui avait déjà signé la BOF du "Ghost Dog" de Jim Jarmusch. Tous deux grands fans de Kung Fu, ils n’ont eu aucun mal à s’entendre sur la couleur musicale de ce film d’action, à guetter le 26 novembre sur les écrans français (pour le premier volet "Volume 1", suivi du "Volume 2" plus tard).
